Kristen has been an avid dancer since the age of four, studying at numerous studios throughout the state of NJ. She has studied all types of dance including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and hip hop. Kristen graduated in the top ten of her class from Rahway High School where she was a member of the dance ensemble and featured in the spring play of Grease. She went on to study Business Management at Kean University in Union, NJ where she was a member of Kean Dance Theater. In 2009, Kristen became certified to teach dance through Dance Educators of America where she trained directly with Charles “Chuck” Kelley. 

 

Kristen continues her love for dance by attending numerous workshops and conventions. In her spare time Kristen has enjoyed taking classes at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and Studio K in Orlando, FL. Kristen moved to Florida in 2018 and began teaching at D and L Dance Center in 2019 where she taught for two years. 

Kristen has been teaching dance full time since 2010 
and loves challenging all levels of dancers with her choreography and creating a family like atmosphere in all of her classes. Kristen is extremely excited to be a part of the Encore Dance Family!!!
