Jacqui, originally from South Florida until moving to New Jersey, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. While in school, Jacqui trained in modern and ballet with Raegan Wood, Randy James, Brian Brooks, Keith Thompson, Ginger Thatcher, along with many more. During her four years at school, she choreographed many of her own works and was a member and Dance Captain for a student touring company, University Dance Works.
After school, Jacqui joined Perceptions Dance Company in New York City where she traveled around New York and Boston for multiple performances. She also danced with After Eight and Dancer’s Collaboration Project, two companies dedicated to promoting the arts by making dance more accessible to the community. Jacqui originally trained with Triple Threat Dance Academy in Deerfield Beach, Florida and was an avid member of the South Florida Performing Arts Foundation. Later, Jacqui trained with Stewart-Johnson Dance Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey where she competed in numerous regional dance competitions with an elite competition team.
Jacqui has been teaching dance for five years in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her favorite musical is Chicago and she knows every word and dance to every single song! She is excited to be in Orlando and to be joining Encore Dance Studio!
