Annie is originally from New Jersey and has a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. She has studied
dance, piano and theater since the age of three. She holds a diploma from the Dance Educators of America
and piano degree from the National College of Musicians. She has studied with choreographers, acting and vocal instructors such as Phil Black, Frank Hatchett, Fred Kelly, Nick Leone, Martha Chapman, Don Lawrence,Annette Charles, Leslie Giammanco, Yolanda Fernandez-Quincoces, Cecilia Cardenes, Yadira Feliz, Jaime
Smith, and many more.
In addition to this Annie has worked with artists like Jessica Simpson, Beyonce, Frankie J., Daisy Fuentes, La India, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Raul de Molina, Lily Estefan, Don Francisco, Javier Romero, and many more.
She has performed on international television shows like Sabado Gigante Internacional, Sabado al Medio Dia,Good Day, New York, New Jersey Network, and numerous other shows on Univision, Telemundo and FOX
Channel. She appeared in the long running soap, As the World Turns. She has also been the lead role for
New York City productions of Sleeping Beauty Ballet, Coppelia, Swan Lake, Firebird, Gaite Parisienne
She has performed in a number of Regional Musical Theater Productions such as Grease, Some Like It Hot, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Wuthering Heights, and Picnic. She has appeared in films like Kicked in the Head and print commercials for Walmart. Annie has recently choreographed for Grammy Award winning, musical group, Train as well as ABC's The View to choreograph, when they are on location in the Orlando Area.
Annie's students have gone on to work on Broadway, various Dance Companies such as the American Ballet Company, Joffrey Ballet, and more. In 2004, Annie was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.
Annie has been teaching dance in the New Jersey area for a number of years and her choreography has placed first place in regional and national competitions. In 2016 she was awarded the Choreography Award at
Kids Artistic Revue. In 2017, she was the recipient of the Choreography Award for Nexstar Dance
Competition, and awarded the Dance Educator Excellence Award.
Her passion for dance, teaching and learning are the motivating force that drives the success of the programsat Encore.
